Questions? We’ve Got You.
Whether you’re new to Urban Hippie, figuring out which type of care is right for you, or trying to understand booking, membership and what to expect, start here.
What type of appointment should I book?
Start with the service that best matches what you need. Chiropractic, massage, perinatal care and advanced care each have their own booking options. If you are unsure where to begin, visit our Services page or contact us and we can help point you in the right direction.
I’m a new client. Where do I start?
Choose the service you are interested in and look for the first-visit option when booking. First visits are designed to give your provider time to understand your needs, goals and history before beginning care.
Can I see more than one provider?
Yes. Urban Hippie is a collective, which means you can receive care from different providers depending on your needs, availability and the type of support you are looking for.
What if I’m not sure which service I need?
That is completely okay. Start by exploring our Services page to learn what each type of care is designed to support. You can also contact us before booking if you need help deciding where to begin.
Where is Urban Hippie located?
Urban Hippie Wellness Collective is located in Oak Cliff, Dallas. Visit our Contact page for the current address, hours and directions.
How do I book an appointment?
You can book online through our scheduling system. Choose your service, select the appropriate visit type and then choose the available provider and appointment time that works best for you.
What is the difference between a first visit and a returning visit?
First visits allow additional time for your provider to learn more about you and your care needs. Returning visits are for established clients who have already completed their initial appointment.
Can I choose my provider?
Yes. Availability and services vary by provider, so the scheduling system will show you which providers are available for the appointment type you select.
How do returning clients book?
Returning clients can use the online scheduler and choose the appropriate returning visit or provider-specific option. Some member or established-client appointment types may require you to log in before they appear.
Why are some services not available to book directly online?
Some therapies are used as part of an existing treatment plan or added to another appointment when appropriate. Because of that, not every service is offered as a standalone online booking option.
How do I reschedule or cancel an appointment?
Use the scheduling confirmation or account tools provided when you book. If you are unable to make changes online, contact Urban Hippie directly for assistance.
What services does Urban Hippie offer?
Urban Hippie offers chiropractic care, massage therapy, perinatal care and advanced therapies in one collective space in Oak Cliff.
Do you offer prenatal and postpartum care?
Yes. Perinatal care is available during pregnancy and postpartum, with chiropractic care and bodywork adapted around your stage, comfort level and individual needs.
What is StemWave / ESWT?
StemWave / ESWT is a non-invasive therapy used for targeted support in areas that may benefit from increased circulation, soft-tissue recovery and focused treatment.
What are dry needling, ultrasound and E-Stim?
These are advanced therapies that may be incorporated into care when appropriate. Dry needling can be used for targeted muscular tension and trigger points. Ultrasound uses sound waves to support soft-tissue recovery and circulation. E-Stim uses controlled electrical stimulation to support muscle activation, relaxation, circulation and recovery.
Are advanced therapies booked separately?
Not always. Some advanced therapies are added to an existing visit based on your provider’s recommendation. StemWave currently has its own booking path, while other advanced therapies may be incorporated into care.
Do I have to become a member?
No. Membership is optional. It is designed for clients who want to stay more consistent with care and access eligible member pricing.
What does the $15 monthly membership include?
The $15 monthly fee gives eligible members access to reduced member pricing on participating services and care options.
Is the $15 membership fee the cost of my visit?
No. The $15 is the monthly membership fee. Appointments are still charged separately at the applicable member rate.
Are children required to have a membership?
School-aged children living at home are not required to have their own membership and can receive eligible member rates.
Can I cancel my membership?
Yes. Membership can be canceled without a minimum-term commitment. Memberships cannot be paused.
Do you offer reduced-rate care?
Some providers offer reduced-rate care or specific reduced-rate appointment options. Availability and eligibility vary by provider and service.
