Advanced care at Urban Hippie in Oak Cliff gives our providers additional tools when hands-on care alone may not be enough. Depending on your needs and goals, treatment may include StemWave / ESWT, therapeutic ultrasound, dry needling or E-Stim alongside chiropractic care. These therapies are selected individually and can provide more targeted support for movement, muscular tension, recovery and areas that need additional attention.
StemWave / ESWT + Ultrasound
StemWave / ESWT and therapeutic ultrasound are targeted, non-invasive treatment options that can be used when an area needs more focused support. They may be incorporated to support circulation, soft-tissue recovery and minor muscle or joint discomfort.
Dry Needling
Dry needling uses very thin needles placed into specific muscles or trigger points to address areas of tension and restricted movement. It may be used as part of care when muscular tightness, mobility or range of motion needs more targeted attention.
E-Stim
E-Stim uses controlled electrical stimulation through small electrodes placed on the body. Depending on the treatment plan, it may be used to support muscle activation, relaxation, circulation and recovery.
